Egerton University Reopening Dates – Egerton University has released its reporting and reopening dates for the 2023/2024 academic sessions, newly admitted and returning students are to take note.

The reopening dates hint about Egerton University’s resumption date for new and returning students in 2024, examination date and other academic activities for the year. See below, the reporting dates and academic calendar for sessional dates in the 2023/2024 academic year.

Egerton University Opening Dates – Reporting Dates

Egerton University wishes to inform all our continuing students including the first years (2023 cohort) students who have been following classes through E-learning that completion of pending learning activities and examinations will take place as follows:

RESUMPTION AND CONTINUATION OF CLASSES FOR SEMESTER I/II OF THE 2023/2024 ACADEMIC YEAR

Reference is made to our notice dated 22^nd April on online classes for the semesters under reference that began on Monday 26^th April 2024 and suspended on 10^th May 2024 to allow for Semester examinations. This is to inform all Academic staff and Students that the classes will resume on 8^th June 2021 for completion of the Semester as follows:

Start of Online classes.	Monday 26^th April – 7^th May
Continuation of learning for Semester I/II of the 2020/2021 academic year (On campus blended sessions)	Tuesday 8^th June – Friday 13^th August
CAT ICAT II	Monday, 5^th July – Friday, 9^th July Monday, 9^th – Friday, 13^th August
End of Semester Examinations	Monday 16^th – Friday 27^th August

NOTE:

The portal will be opened for the continuation of registration for the Semester under reference from June for four (4) weeks. Students are required to PAY FEES AND FULLY REGISTER during this period. The portal will close on July at 11.59 p.m.
Any student who will not have registered by the closure of the portal SHALL be deemed to have deferred the Academic year.
All students who will not have registered by 4^th July 2024 MUST vacate the University premises by close of business on 5^th July 2024.
Disciplinary action SHALL be taken on any student who will not have registered but continues to remain on campus beyond 5^th July 2024.
