The Examinations Council of Zambia (ECZ) is a corporate body established in 1983 by an Act of Parliament Chapter 137 of the Laws of Zambia with a mandate to conduct Primary and Secondary School, Teacher Training as well as Technical Education Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training Examinations. The ECZ has been in existence as a secretariat since 1987. Functions of the ECZ include among others, conducting examinations and awarding certificates or diplomas to candidates who pass examinations conducted by ECZ.
The Examinations Council of Zambia wishes to notify all stakeholders and the general public that registration of candidates for the 2020 Examinations at Grades 7, 9 external and Internal, 12 and GCE levels is stated below.
Candidates in examination classes are advised to complete their registration for the 2020 Examinations in the remaining time before the stipulated deadline by making necessary payments (Where applicable) and submitting details.
This serves to inform parents, candidates and member of the public that the deadline for the Registration of Candidates for the 2020 Examinations for Grades 7, 9,12 and GCE has been extended further from today, 28th February 2020 to 7th March 2020.
GRADE 7, 9, 12 AND GCE REGISTRATION DEADLINE
Applicants are required to take note of the application deadline below:
Grade 7, 9 external and Internal, 12 and GCE Exam Registration 2020 is scheduled to close on or before 29th February.
The Examination Registration Portal is expected to shut down on the same date at 11:59 PM.
There shall be NO EXTENSION to the registration of Candidates after 7th March.
Further, we wish to notify you that the Grade 7 and 9 Statements of Results for 2019 Examinations will be made available for access on our e-Statement Platform on or before 14th January 2020.
