REOPENING OF UNIVERSITIES FOR FINAL YEAR STUDENTS

In line with the Government’s decision to re-open Universities for final year students to complete their studies, the Senate meeting that was held on 1
st October 2020 resolved that all finalists (Bachelors 4.2, Diploma 2.2 (DCM and DAM) and Certificate 1.2 (CBM) who did not sit for their end of semester online examinations for the January-April 2020 Semester should report to the University to start attending classes on Tuesday 6th October at 8.00 AM.

Residing in the University halls of residence will depend on the availability of space and other logistics that will be communicated to those who will express interest in the same.

The University has automated the students’ registration process to ensure that it is hastened.

All continuing students who are reporting as from 16th September, 2019 are required to self register online from the students’ portal. Please note that students wishing to book for accommodation should first confirm with the housekeeping on availability of rooms before booking and paying for accommodation due to the limited spaces available.

The procedure for self-registration is as follows:

Access and log in to your portal account on studentsportal.cuk.ac.ke.
Navigate to finance tab and at the bottom of the page click register (subject to payment of full or at least 50% of fees)
Click on unit booking tab and confirm registration of your units for the semester
NOTE: Self-registration is only possible for those students whose status is ACTIVE.
