Grade 12 Results Ordinary Level (NSSCO Results ) Namibia

Grade 12 Results Ordinary Level (NSSCO): Directorate of National Examinations and Assessment (DNEA), Namibia and Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture (MoEAC) conducted Grade 12 (Ordinary Level) exams in the month October. NSSCO is known as Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate Ordinary Level results for full-time and part-time candidates likely to be released in the month January.

Grade 12 Results Ordinary Level:

In Namibia all subjects for obtaining the NSSC must be taught and tested in English (except languages). The certificate can be obtained in two different levels of difficulty, “Higher Level” (NSSCH) and “Ordinary Level” (NSSCO) . Prerequisites for access to universities are usually a minimum number of points in the “higher level”.

The Grade 12 examination is taken at two levels as NSSC Higher Level and NSSC Ordinary Level. In this page, we are discussing only releasing the examination results for NSSC Ordinary Level (NSSCO) exam.

Generally, the NSSCO results released in the month of January, in 2021 it was released on January 2021, in 2021 grade 12 results were announced on January 2021. In the 2021 year the Grade 12 Ordinary Level Results has released on December 2021.

Exam results for grade 12 (Ordinary Level) may be obtained via SMS by following example format of SMS. There are two formats for SMS services one is using name another is using examination number.

DNEA and MoEAC both allow students to check the results through web application i.e. if you have Internet collection you can check the results by using your smartphone and computer.

Last Year Grade 12 Results Ordinary Level Summary:

In 2014: A total 19,392 number full-time candidates who wrote for grade 12 ordinary level examinations in 2014, 93,2% were graded compared to 93.0 % in 2013. The above simply means that 93,2% qualified for subject certificates. In the entire exams, only 6.8 % were ungraded compared to 7% in 2013.

It is also important to note that of the 25 540 part-time candidates who sat for the examinations 79.2% were graded in 2014 compared to 82.1% in 2013.

NSSC Ordinary Level results Grade:

The NSSC Ordinary Level results are reported on an 8-point scale of grades:
A* to G, of which A* indicates exceptional performance or distinction, and represents the lowest performance worthy of a grade.

Candidates who failed to obtain the minimum standard to be graded are ungraded which is indicated by a “U” symbol. X, I and Q symbols also appear on the statements of results of some candidates.

“X” indicates no result whilst

Q” means the results are still under investigation and, therefore, pending,

I” indicates that the candidate was absent or the results are incomplete.
