In the counties of Garissa, Wajir, and Mandera, the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has announced the opening of 1000 teaching positions. The commission is looking to hire 80 high school instructors and 764 elementary school teachers, according to the advertisement this author saw. The positions are long-term and pensionable.
