The management of The Eldoret National Polytechnic invites application from suitably qualified applicants for admission into degree programmes offered at the institution for the Academic Year.
Application Prodedure
TENP strives to admit those applicants who are best prepared to benefit from and contribute to our academic community. Admission specialists will review your application and supporting documentation carefully to assess your overall academic preparation. In evaluating your application, the polytechnic will consider the following factors: Mean Grade scores achieved in High School, The strength of your high school course work Grades earned in core subjects depending on the specific programmes in which you are interested and Additional information you provided in support of your application. Before you apply for admission at TENP, you are encouraged to carefully consider the various certificate,diploma and Higher Diploma programmes available and to meet with an adviser and when you decide TENP is the place you want to be. Admission to TENP is on a first come first serve basis so be sure to complete your application early.
HOW TO APPLY
1) ADVERTISEMENT IN THE PRESS.
We shall advertise Programmes in the local dailies in March (for May intake), in July (for September intake), and in October (for January intake).
2) APPLICATION MODES
(i) Postal Order:
Prospective students shall apply for the courses of their choice by completing the application coupon. The coupon is available alongside, in the newspaper that carries the advertisement, at the Admissions Office in the Main Campus OR alternatively download an application form.
The completed coupon should be returned to the main campus or mailed accompanied by copies of Relevant ACADEMIC CERTIFICATES, ID CARD and a bank deposit slip of NON-REFUNDABLE APPLICATION FEE of Kshs 750/= (Postal Order) and should be addressed to the PRINCIPAL,THE ELDORET NATIONAL POLYTECHNIC.
(ii) Online Application:
Prospective students shall apply for the courses of their choice by logging in our website nd
make their application online .Scanned Copies of Relevant ACADEMIC CERTIFICATESshould be Uploaded
3) SELECTION:
The Registrar selects the applicants who meet the stipulated entry requirements. The successful applicants will be notified through the addresses they shall have provided (Postal Phone and E- mail).The unsuccessful applicants will not be contacted.
4) REGISTRATION:
The successful applicants will be required to formally register for the programmes for which they have been called, upon receipt of the calling letter.This is upon payment of the statutory fees and the tuition fees.The deadline for registration will be indicated.
