Your policy cover will normally run for 12 months and is renewable annually.

Takaful will cover you for any loss or damage to the insured vehicle and its spare part accessories.

Takaful will cover you for any amount that you as the owner of the motor vehicle may be legally liable for

Takaful will cover you in respect of death of or bodily injury to any person including all passengers in the vehicles except you, your spouse, your children or the driver.

Takaful will cover you in respect of property damage except those owned by you or the driver at the time of accident or property that has been entrusted to you or is in your custody or control.

Automobile Association(AA) Road Assistance at AA member rates

Car Hire benefit if insured vehicle is being repaired following an accident, fire or theft

How much must I pay if I have a claim?

• Accidental damage: 2.5% of Sum Insured, Minimum Kshs 15,000/-, Maximum Kshs 100,000/-

Partial Theft of vehicle parts: 2.5% of Sum Insured, Minimum Kshs 15,000/-

Theft where vehicle has anti theft device: 10% of Sum Insured, Minimum Kshs 20,000/-

Theft for vehicle without anti theft device: 20% of Sum Insured, Minimum Kshs 20,000/-

Theft for vehicle with tracking device: 2.5% of Sum Insured, Minimum Kshs 20,000/-

Third Party Property Damage: Kshs 7,500/-

Young drivers below 21 years: Ksh.5,000 Additional

Drivers with less than 1 year driving experience: Kshs 5,000 Additional

How do I make a claim?

You should report to us immediately. We will ask you for the following documents:

Completed Claim Form
Copy of the log book
Police Abstract Report
Motor Vehicle Inspection report (for third-party claims)
Copy of the Driver’s Driving licence
Notice of intention to prosecute(if any)

For Total Loss & Theft of vehicle we will also ask for the following:

Duplicate certificate of Insurance
Valuation/Assessment report
Original logbook in our insured’s name
Copy of PIN Certificate
Copy of National Identity card
For companies – Certificate of registration
Signed but undated transfer form
Spare car keys
Spare wheel, jack & spanner
For total loss surrender the salvage

The WIBA Takaful provides Indemnity to an Employer against Legal Liability under the Workmen Injury Benefits Act (2007) in respect of assessments and awards for bodily injury to a workman due to accident or occupational disease arising out of and in the course of the employment by the employer in respect of the employer’s business.
