Understanding the Differentiated Unit Cost
The Differentiated Unit Cost (DUC) is a funding model used by the government to allocate resources to public universities in Kenya. It takes into account the different costs of offering various academic programs. The DUC model ensures that resources are allocated fairly and transparently, based on the actual cost of providing education.
Approved School Fees Structure
The school fees for the academic year 2023/2024 have been calculated based on the Differentiated Unit Cost. The approved fee structure applies to all FIRST-YEAR programs.
