Hospitality (Gym & Spa): Accountant Job 2019
Our client, a high-end gym & spa start-up is looking for an experienced Accountant to perform day to day accounting responsibilities of the organization. He/she will prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports. The ideal candidate Must have at least 2 years’ working experience as an accountant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
- Periodic general ledger reconciliation
- Accounts Receivable management
- Preparation and posting e.g. cash payment & accruals
- Petty Cash Management
- Maintenance of creditors ledger/ Accounts Payable reconciliation and management
- Ensuring all payments amounts & records are accurate
- Preparation of statutory accounts
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
- Must have at least 2 years relevant working experience
- Must have working knowledge of online QuickBooks
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles
- A team player with excellent communication skills, Attention to detail, problem solving skills
