About the Role

HEVA is seeking to recruit an investment analyst to join the investment team.

The ideal candidate should have the following qualities:

  • At least 3 years of working experience as an analyst.
  • Outstanding financial modelling experience
  • Deep curiosity in investing in previously untouched industries
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate new investments by assessing the attractiveness of potential new deals and forming a view on the industry, business model and company
  • Preparing investment memos, financial models, financial projections and valuations.
  • Conduct due diligence on prospective investment opportunities, including industry specific research and financial analysis
  • Monitoring existing investments
  • Maintain an investment database
  • Prepare quarterly and annual investment reporting documents

Our preferred candidate should also have:

  • Proven ability to effectively work as a member of a team and multi-task
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • Experience as a team player and collaborator
  • Exceptional skills in quantitative analysis, financial modeling and written and verbal communication
  • Strong understanding of accounting and finance
  • Superior work ethic
  • Strong proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word and Salesforce
  • Ability to multi-task and take initiative as is expected in an entrepreneurial firm

Job Requirements

Required education: Bachelor’s degree
Required relevant work experience: 3 years
Required languages: English (Spoken: fluent | Written: fluent)
