We have invested in more than 40 creative businesses and directly supported over 500 creative practitioners in the fashion, digital content and television, live music and gaming value-chains.
About the Role
HEVA is seeking to recruit an investment analyst to join the investment team.
The ideal candidate should have the following qualities:
- At least 3 years of working experience as an analyst.
- Outstanding financial modelling experience
- Deep curiosity in investing in previously untouched industries
- Attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Evaluate new investments by assessing the attractiveness of potential new deals and forming a view on the industry, business model and company
- Preparing investment memos, financial models, financial projections and valuations.
- Conduct due diligence on prospective investment opportunities, including industry specific research and financial analysis
- Monitoring existing investments
- Maintain an investment database
- Prepare quarterly and annual investment reporting documents
Our preferred candidate should also have:
- Proven ability to effectively work as a member of a team and multi-task
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Experience as a team player and collaborator
- Exceptional skills in quantitative analysis, financial modeling and written and verbal communication
- Strong understanding of accounting and finance
- Superior work ethic
- Strong proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word and Salesforce
- Ability to multi-task and take initiative as is expected in an entrepreneurial firm
Job Requirements
Required education: Bachelor’s degree
Required relevant work experience: 3 years
Required languages: English (Spoken: fluent | Written: fluent)
