Admission & Enrollment
Students who attend ELI’s AEP should be college-bound, meaning that they should intend on going to a college or university in the United States.
The minimum age of potential students is 17 years of age, and they should be able to provide their official transcript
Students who apply for AEP program should be culturally open-minded and willing to attend various cultural activities and adjust themselves in a new culture.
Students who apply for AEP should be able to provide their certificates of financial responsibility.
Students are required to participate in a placement assessment within the first week of the term.
ELI continually seeks out students desiring to study English for academic purposes and enrolls students before the beginning of each term. Students interested in attending the Academic English Program (AEP) should complete the AEP Application packet online or download the packet here and submit the necessary documents indicated on the instruction page.
Once the application is submitted, ELI administration will review the application and make a decision based on criteria needed for acceptance. A letter will be issued to the student following the review. If approved, students will receive an acceptance letter with the next steps for completing their enrollment. The acceptance letter will include information about housing and medical insurance as well as instructions about how to make a payment. An I-20 form will be issued and sent in the mail to international students who require it under the current Department of Homeland Security regulation.
While in the program, students are expected to follow the attendance policy in addition to completing the necessary academic and curriculum activities and assessment.

Tuition
$3900/termor$15,600/academic year
One academic year includes four terms, and each term is nine weeks long. We recommend that payment be made for the academic year.
