DEADLINE EXTENSION FOR RECEIVING APPLICATIONS FOR CO-OPERATIVE BANK FOUNDATION
SPONSORSHIP
This is to notify you that Co-operative Bank Foundation offers scholarships to two (2)very needy students
annually. We wish to inform prospective applicants that the deadline for receiving the applications has been
extended to Wednesday 10
th April 2019.
Applicants should meet the following requirements:

Must be studying Diploma in Co-operative Management;

Must be belonging to September 2018 or January 2019 cohort;

Must be a full-time student;

Must not have been involved in any disciplinary case;

Parent/Guardian must be a member of a Co-operative Society or been involved in any Co-operative
related activities. This will be an added advantage;

Must be a needy student based on:
● High accumulated fee balances;
● Confirmed inability to raise fees through referees e.g. local chief, former school head or
church leader;
● Low income of parents/guardians
● Evidence of being orphaned;
● Any other relevant socio-economic background disadvantage

Application Procedure
Applicants shall fill prescribed application forms from the Dean of Students Office that detail their bio-data,
parents/guardian ability to pay fees, fee balances and justification of the need. Clearly labelled and sealed
applications quoting the reference ( Scholarships: Co-operative Bank Foundation Sponsorship) should be
