COLLEGE HISTORY

East Africa Institute of Certified Studies traces its roots back to 2005 where it was established as a Non-Profit making Organization, training HIV/AIDS Management as well as Community Empowerment. EAICS College would reach out to the community by training groups of people in churches around Nairobi.

In the year 2008, we partnered with the Ministry of Public Health and Sanitation through National AIDS and STIs Coordination Program (NASCOP) to train VCT counselors in the country. We later advanced and introduced Certificate and Diploma in Counseling and Psychology.

Our humble beginning did not hinder but motivated us to achieve our vision. Every step has been a learning process and a chance to expand our vision of being the best learning institution regionally and globally. After rebranding in 2012, ICS College introduced a new department; School of Information Communication and Technology (ICT). This department served many students from secondary school with Computer Application Packages, ICT and later ICDL (International Computer Driving License).

In the same year ICS College became one of the leading ICT institutions in Nairobi and  it was selected by the Ministry of ICT to be a digital village in Nairobi, a government sponsored program dubbed PASHA aimed at promoting use if ICT at grassroots level. In the year 2013 ICS College became the first training institution to offer new and free tablets to all our new students studying courses lasting more than 6 months and also those studying ICDL course.

Through faith and hard work, East Africa Institute of Certified Studies has grown and launched a total of 6 major Schools in the last 4 years; School of ICT & Engineering, School of Business, School of Hospitality & Languages, School of Social Sciences, School of Beauty & Fashion Design and School of Media Studies. We have also been able to partner and collaborate with different National and International Examination and Accreditation bodies such as; KNEC, KASNEB, ICM, ABMA, ABE, JP-UK among others

Over time, ICS College has trained many professionals many of whom are now working in various sectors of the economy. We also have created jobs opportunities to members of the society. ICS College employs highly skilled workforce who ensure that our students have the best training background in practical with also sound theoretical lessons.

In the last 12 months, our college has experienced tremendous growth having opened 3 new campuses to cater for our clients countrywide. For the Coastal Region, we have Mombasa Campus, for the Nyanza Region we have our Kisumu Campus in the lakeside city of Kisumu and for the Rift Valley Region ICS College has the Eldoret Branch. With our projections, we are hoping to open up more campuses across all regions owing to the fact that we accept students from the East Africa Community and the whole continent of Africa.

With an active student population of close to 4000 and counting, we are proud to say we truly are the best college in kenya. In particular, we are currently the most popular learning institution on social media owing to our dedicated marketing team and management.

Our Long term goal is to eventually transform and be a leading University in East Africa. We have tentatively set to achieve this within a period of 5 years. We believe ‘WE CAN’ with prayers, dedication, hard work and support and by assurance in quality and professional training.
